Mosaic Virginia

2025

The Virts Miller Foundation is honored to award a $100,000 grant to Mosaic Virginia for the full renovation of their Lansdowne Center—a vital space where individuals and families navigating unplanned pregnancies and life’s challenges can find compassionate care, guidance, and hope.

This transformation was more than a facelift; it was an investment in the future of Loudoun County families. Our grant enabled Mosaic Virginia to upgrade lighting, flooring, furnishings, and technology throughout the facility—creating a warm, welcoming, and functional environment. A newly designed front entrance now offers an inviting and respectful first impression to everyone who walks through the door.

The renovation also allowed Mosaic to grow. A reconfigured space now accommodates more staff and volunteers, equipping the organization to serve more and meet rising demand. Most significantly, the project established a permanent home for the GPS Parenting Program—a long-term mentoring and education initiative that experienced a 54% increase in participation last year, reaching 234 families.

2023

The Virts Miller Foundation generously provided funding to Mosaic Virginia to support the renovation of their office space, enhancing the facilities to better serve their community. Additionally, the Foundation donated a property that enabled Mosaic Virginia to establish their first maternity home, further expanding their capacity to assist the community.

“In 2023, Mosaic Virginia embarked on an ambitious expansion, opening two clinics and serving more clients than ever. Despite initial setbacks in our renovation plans and higher than expected costs, the finalized renovation plans were realized with the support of the Virts Miller Foundation. The improved facilities with enhanced privacy and comfort for our clients. Our diligent planning and reserved funding ensure that we move forward confidently, with the community’s continued support and anticipation for the improved space.”
