The Land Trust of Virginia (LTV), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded in 1992 to receive voluntary donations of conservation easements. An accredited private land trust, LTV holds easements on 144 properties, conserving 14,770 acres of open space, farmland, forests, wetlands and historic properties in Fauquier, Loudoun, Clarke, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Greene, King George, Stafford and Hanover Counties and in the City of Fredericksburg.
