It Only Takes One Charity Golf Tournament: A Day of Purpose and Partnership

On September 19, 2024, the Virts Miller Foundation, in partnership with the Cut Collective Barbershop, proudly hosted the It Only Takes One Charity Golf Tournament—a powerful day of community, advocacy, and action in the fight against the fentanyl crisis.

The tournament supported the It Only Takes One initiative, championed by Virginia’s First Lady Suzanne Youngkin, which is dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and equipping families with life-saving education and resources.

We were honored to welcome First Lady Suzanne Youngkin and Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman as special guests, along with support from Attorney General Jason Miyares—each a committed leader in addressing this urgent public health issue across the Commonwealth.

Thanks to the generosity of our players, sponsors, and donors, the tournament raised over $70,000 to support prevention, education, and recovery programs that protect and empower Virginia’s youth.

The Virts Miller Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event possible. Together, we are building stronger, safer, and healthier communities.
