The Virts Miller Foundation awarded Future Kings a grant in the 2022 grant cycle that was used to host their STEM summer camp. At the camp, kids were able to participate in projects that allowed them to further explore future opportunities in their academics and careers.
“Future Kings in Loudoun deeply appreciates the significant support from the Virts-Miller Foundation, Go Virginia, and the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, which has been critical in launching and expanding our empowering programs for young minds. Our inaugural STEM Summer Camp in 2024 was a resounding success, providing students with hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, igniting their passions and setting the stage for future achievements. With further support from local business leaders and partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations, we have enhanced the scope and impact of our initiatives, such as eSports events and college tours, which foster academic growth and personal development. As we continue to expand and plan future activities, the sustained backing of our community and partners remains essential to our mission of creating opportunities for the youth in Loudoun County.”
